Senior Facade Design engineer - Retail | Saudi Arabia

Key Accountabilities

• Design and develop external facades for retail and commercial projects.
• Translate brand identity and guidelines into architectural facade concepts.
• Prepare detailed drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure proper execution.
• Review and approve material selections (glass, aluminum, cladding, etc.).
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation and ensure design compliance.
• Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to align design with brand image

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in facade design, preferably in retail or commercial projects.
• Proven experience working on branded retail outlets or chain stores is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of facade systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Experience in both design and site execution phases.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and/or other design tools.
• Strong knowledge of facade materials (glass, aluminum, cladding, signage integration).
• Understanding of branding and visual identity application in design.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
