Job Title: Senior Facility Manager

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Regional Vice President

FLSA Status: Exempt, Salaried

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead long-term capital improvement planning across 80 communities.
  • Conduct facility condition assessments and develop multi-year CAPEX forecasts.
  • Oversee capital projects to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create and implement a scalable maintenance program covering staffing models, preventive maintenance schedules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Deploy work order and service platforms to streamline operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to regional and on-site teams.
  • Lead annual community inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for infrastructure, utilities, and amenities.
  • Partner with insurance and risk teams to reduce claims and liability exposure.
  • Prepare predictive budgets for both short-term operating expenses and long-term capital projects.
  • Build and manage a network of preferred contractors and service providers.
  • Oversee regional maintenance staff and set performance standards.
  • Performs other duties, as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Senior Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Facility technicians and other support staff. This includes assigning daily work orders, monitoring work quality and safety practices, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Education and/or Experience

Must be able to understand and troubleshoot issues pertaining to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to maintain all physical aspects of the community to ensure safety, functionality, and curb appeal. Must be able to work in any environment. Must be able to handle strenuous activities throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
