Job Description
The role is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all maintenance operations within the organization’s facilities. This includes ensuring that buildings, systems, and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
The role focuses on developing maintenance strategies, managing teams and budgets, maintaining high operational standards, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costs. The Director also leads capital improvement projects, supervises maintenance staff and contractors, and manages relationships with vendors and service providers.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement facility maintenance plans and policies.

Lead maintenance teams and monitor performance.

Manage budgets, maintenance schedules, and project timelines.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Oversee vendors, contractors, and service agreements.

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field

10+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance management.

Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.

Oversee and managebuilding handover and acceptance processes, ensuring all systems and components meet required standards before final delivery.

Experience in building maintenance methods, including supervision of preventive and periodic maintenance for systems such as elevators, generators, and safety and security systems.

Ability to make decisions related to corrective maintenance and ensure quick resolution of issues.

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
