Role Overview

Mahukaa is seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Designer who will lead the design and development of our ethnic & fusion wear collections. The designer will be responsible for managing the entire design process—from concept to final product—while coordinating closely with masters, sampling teams, and production units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal collections for ethnic and fusion women’s wear.
• Create khaka designs, sketches, mood boards, and detailed technical sheets.
• Coordinate with masters, pattern makers, and sampling teams to ensure timely execution of designs.
• Oversee the sampling process, including fittings, corrections, and final approvals.
• Research market trends, fabrics, embroideries, and silhouettes relevant to brand aesthetics.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and finishing in all garments.
• Collaborate with production and merchandising teams for smooth workflow.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple design projects.
• Maintain consistency of brand identity and design language.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in ethnic wear or fusion wear design.
• Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroideries, silhouettes, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in sketching and creating khaka designs (hand or digital).
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage end-to-end design processes independently.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Pay: ₹19,377.79 - ₹61,540.23 per month
