Overview:
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will directly support the CFO in managing the financial operations and strategic decision-making of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This position requires a strong strategic mindset, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Support the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures.

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals and objectives.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and scenario planning, to assist in decision-making.

Prepare and present detailed financial reports and recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership team.
Financial Reporting:

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.

Manage the consolidation of financial results and ensure proper reporting across departments.
Cash Flow & Risk Management:

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company maintains sufficient liquidity.

Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, providing recommendations to the CFO.

Support the CFO in capital raising, debt management, and financial risk strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:

Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure financial data is accurately captured and reported.

Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and systems.
Strategic Support:

Assist in developing long-term financial strategies to support company growth.

Provide insights into profitability, cost control, and investment decisions to ensure alignment with company goals.
Compliance & Governance:

Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with financial regulations.

Work with external auditors to complete annual audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and financial reporting standards.
Ad Hoc Projects & Analysis:

Support the CFO on various strategic projects, including system implementation, process improvements, and new business initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

MBA, CFA, CPA, SOCPA, CMA or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Experience:

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with leadership experience.

Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Previous experience supporting a CFO in a mid-to-large-sized company is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of financial modeling, financial analysis, and accounting principles.

Expertise in financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
