Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a consumer technology company, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance organization. This role is designed for an experienced analyst who combines strong technical skills with sound business judgment and thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving strategic and operational decision-making through advanced financial analysis, planning, and performance management. This individual will serve as a trusted finance partner to the Head of Finance, Product, Sales, and Operations leadership, owning key components of forecasting, pricing analysis, and business performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead portions of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate initiatives, size opportunities, and establish measurable performance targets
• Support hardware product teams on pricing, assortment strategy, and competitive analysis
• Develop and own advanced dashboards and reporting with product- and channel-level visibility (e.g., profitability, return rates, contribution margin)
• Analyze operational and product costs to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
• Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Lead ad hoc analysis and support strategic initiatives and new product launches

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
• Proven experience building financial models, dashboards, and reporting to support business decisions
• Experience in high-growth, consumer, or hardware-enabled businesses a plus
• Advanced Excel expertise (pivots, arrays, lookups; macros a plus)
• Experience with SQL, data warehouses, and BI tools preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders
