Senior Financial Analyst

Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Purpose: The Finance Analyst will support the execution of the Company’s residential and commercial real estate platform (acquisitions, new construction, rehabilitation, etc.) by performing financial analyses of new and existing opportunities, preparing appropriate documents to facilitate and to complete the underwriting and closing of real estate transactions, as well as tracking and reporting on the status of transactions within the pipeline.

Job Responsibilities:

· This position requires a great deal of autonomy and accountability, along with strong experience in financial analysis of real estate transactions, critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.

· This position works in close coordination with accounting, business development, construction, development, and executive teams located in our two offices and will report to the CFO.

· Provide initial screening and proforma modeling of development opportunities to determine financially feasibility.

· Perform simple economic research and prepare investment metrics such as internal rate of return, earnings multiple, working capital, investment/financial/expense performance.

· Identify funding sources and utilize current financing strategies.

· Underwrite finance opportunities utilizing appropriate Equity Stack.

· Develop analyses and presentation materials needed for senior team members and Investment Committee, as well as external meetings (clients, government agencies, lenders, investors, etc.)

· Ensure departmental deadlines are met.

· Assist in Due Diligence.

Preferred Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or equivalent from an accredited university. Master’s degree preferred but not required.

· 1+ years experience in a research or analyst position, in the residential or commercial real estate industry.

· Experience with Yarid, Argus, and excel modeling

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
