Job Responsibilities:
As an important member of our Finance team you will:
Responsible for monthly financial accounting, including journal entries, accruals and financial analysis, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results for portfolio.
Prepare monthly financial reports including Income Statement.
Compare actual results with forecast to analyze and identify areas of strengths and weakness
Develop and deliver a consistent and accurate analysis of business performance using KPI and non-financial data to highlight performance.
Liaise with the various Managers to provide support as required.
Review account reconciliations FA prepared.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as required by Management.
Train and mentor staff on best financial practices.
Assist with internal and external audit requests as required.
Continuously improve procedures develop reports to drive insight and accountability
Job Qualifications:
At least Bachelors. (i.e. MBA, BBA, B. Com etc.) any Accounting Certification will be a good plus.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as a senior financial analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar position
Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to set priorities, adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal savviness skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management. Possesses strong leadership/command skills and demonstrates organizational agility
Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadlines requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent technical learning, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of IFRS is an asset
Experience with F&O with good hands on Microsoft Excel.
