Role Summary:
RV Tech is seeking a versatile Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a central member of our Finance organization. This role combines high-level strategic modeling and hands-on financial operations. You will be a key support for our Planful EPM implementation, a pioneer in AI-driven financial workflows, and a trusted partner to our engineering and leadership teams in Palo Alto.This role reports to the Director of FP&A and is Located in our Palo Alto, California office, this position offers a standard hybrid schedule with the expectation of being in the office three days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead functional point of contact for the Planful rollout. Lead data validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure migrated data aligns with legacy records and meets the reporting needs of both Rivian and Volkswagen stakeholders.

Integrate AI-enhanced tools (e.g., Gemini, Hex, Databricks) to automate predictive forecasting and variance commentary. Identify opportunities to replace manual data entry with intelligent workflows.

Own the monthly rolling forecast and Month-End Close activities. Review accruals, manage variance analysis, and prepare monthly reporting packages that provide Team Leads with full budget transparency.

Manage Master Data (Cost Centers, GL accounts, project codes) in SAP 4HANA and oversee transactional hygiene, including headcount approvals and actuals reconciliation.

Support the procurement lifecycle by assisting with vendor onboarding, PR/PO clarifications, and tracking actual spend against departmental budgets.

Act as a strategic partner to company leadership by providing scenarios and strategic options, driving critical financial and company decisions.

Deliver impactful presentations for the Board of Directors and lead ad-hoc projects to provide key insights to the CEOs and CFO.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Finance Operations. Experience in a high-growth Software, EV, or Tech environment is highly preferred.

Direct experience with EPM (preferably Planful) and ERP systems (preferably SAP) is required.

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for complex data reconciliation. Proficiency or strong interest in AI-powered data apps (Hex, Databricks, Gemini) is a significant advantage.

A "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach; comfortable moving from 10-year strategic modeling to granular data entry and coding.

BA/BS degree in a Quantitative field (Finance, STEM, Economics); MBA or CPA is a plus.

Ability to work from the Palo Alto office 2-3 days per week.
Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Palo Alto, California Based Applicants: $117,200 - $146,400 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
