Location: Scottsdale, AZ(Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)

Duration: Contract

Salary Range: $50 to $60/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing Corporate Finance team. This role will play a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, strategic planning, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will partner with business leaders across multiple functions to provide financial insights, evaluate business performance, and support strategic decision-making.

This position is best suited for a finance professional with strong FP&A experience, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning activities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for revenue, expenses, profitability, and business performance analysis

• Perform variance analysis and provide detailed explanations of financial results against budget and forecast

• Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and business performance presentations

• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to support decision-making

• Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment evaluations

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and revenue growth

• Support strategic initiatives including new products, pricing strategies, and business expansion efforts

• Leverage Excel, Power BI, and financial planning tools to improve reporting and data visualization

• Improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and forecasting methodologies

• Collaborate with Accounting teams to ensure alignment between actual results and financial forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field

• 5+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or Financial Analysis experience

• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise

• Strong executive communication and presentation skills

• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools

• Experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Oracle, Anaplan, or similar financial systems preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering abilities

• Financial Services industry experience highly preferred

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or progress toward certification is a plus

• Proven experience supporting senior leadership and business stakeholders

• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning

• Experience building executive dashboards and delivering business insights

• Comfortable working in fast-paced corporate environments

• Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through financial analysis

• Background in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Banking, FinTech, Insurance, or Brokerage environments preferred
