ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for haulage and transportation activities. You will focus on optimizing cost-per-unit, improving truck productivity, evaluating supplier performance, and assessing the financial implications of regulatory and market developments on the logistics P&L. In collaboration with other departments such as Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to drive cost efficiency and business insights.


ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop annual budgets (BP) and rolling estimates (RE).
  • Analyze cost-per-trip, cost-per-km, and cost-per-pallet across routes and suppliers.
  • Prepare all journal entries and handle monthly accounting activities related to the monthly closing process.
  • Monitor monthly variances and provide insights using cost bridges and waterfall charts.
  • Evaluate supplier price increase requests and support procurement negotiations.
  • Assess the financial impacts of regulatory changes (e.g., overloading bans, fuel subsidy shifts).
  • Conduct scenario modeling to simulate volume, rate, and productivity changes.
  • Validate supplier invoices and identify discrepancies.
  • Track depot/geographical cost mix changes and productivity KPIs.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards and performance presentations for management.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to validate supply plans and capacity decisions.


ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Economics
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Food & Beverages or E-commerce industries
  • Experience with SAP and exposure to logistics, finance, or transportation cost analysis
  • Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced Excel skills (Dynamic Arrays, Power Query, Pivot Tables)
  • Proficiency in waterfall/bridge reporting and familiarity with haulage KPIs (e.g., pallets/trip, km/trip, empty mileage)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work with complex datasets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A business partnering mindset across Finance and Supply Chain, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders
