$95,000–$115,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus

About the Opportunity
A growing national manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the primary financial partner to manufacturing operations. This highly visible role combines traditional financial analysis with hands-on operational support, helping drive efficiency, cost control, and profitability across production facilities.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing finance or cost accounting, with expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliations, inventory analysis, and standard costing.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis

Manage and maintain the standard costing system, including labor and overhead rates.

Perform detailed analysis of production variances, including yield, usage, and efficiency metrics.

Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Financial Reporting

Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports accurately and on schedule.

Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to management.

Inventory Management & Controls

Lead monthly inventory reconciliations for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.

Monitor and minimize inventory shrinkage and obsolescence.
Month-End Close

Manage manufacturing-related close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and plant-level P&L reporting.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and established reporting timelines.
Budgeting & Forecasting

Partner with plant leadership to develop annual operating budgets and rolling forecasts.

Support production planning through financial modeling and capacity analysis.

Internal Controls & Compliance

Maintain strong internal controls and ensure data integrity within ERP systems.

Support audit requirements and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Finance or Cost Accounting.

Experience as a Financial Analyst within a manufacturing or food production environment.
