Senior Financial Analyst, WW Ops Finance

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for the Operations Finance team. The role will play a key part in driving the business agenda, including responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and planning, and providing decision support through data analysis and business insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Build financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Amazon network.
• Work closely with stakeholders on cost out initiatives.
• Participate in annual budgeting and revisions.
• Automate existing models and tools to contribute to scaling the Fulfillment Center Network.
• Engage in operations planning and cost planning for the network.
• Evaluate and improve methodologies that are core to business models and tools.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements and cost savings initiatives.
• Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly results reporting.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business; or a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re engineering, quality assurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• MBA, or CPA.
• Knowledge of Tableau.
• Experience working with large scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
