Senior Financial Planning

Key Responsibilities

§ Prepare Journal imports for large allocations, prepare detailed analysis, reclassification and perform detailed analysis for sub-ledger transactions

§ Support in providing solutions to complex tasks to the sub-ledger functions that have an impact in GL

§ Approve PRs in line with the budgets for the projects assigned, assist in reporting of the project and forecasting.

§ Lead budgeting for assigned projects and assist in cashflow forecasting across several divisions.

§ Analyze variances and trends, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

§ Assist in preparing management reporting packs and financial models for leadership review.

§ Handle complex ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager and be proactive and hands- on with the tasks assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree - Accounting/Finance
  • ACCA/CPA/CMA/CIMA and equivalent certifications preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience of relevant experience.

Core Competencies & Skills

a. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.

b. Advanced skills in Excel and experience in Oracle EBS is a plus

c. Language Proficiency – English - Spoken and Written (Proficiency in Arabic / Bilingual is a plus)

d. Prior Experience in a governmental / semi government entity is a plus.
