Senior Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Q4-26

Job Description:

• We re looking for a hands on Senior Forward Deployed Engineer who enjoys working directly with clients solving real engineering problems and using modern AI tools to improve how software is built
• In this role you ll serve as the onshore anchor for our engineering pods guiding delivery shaping solutions and helping clients adopt AI enabled engineering practices
• You will collaborate with client teams across multiple regions globally leading conversations and driving outcomes end to end

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with global client engineering teams to understand goals challenges and priorities
• Lead workshops discovery sessions solutioning and technical discussions
• Coordinate delivery across distributed teams to ensure clarity on scope timelines risks and progress
• Use modern AI tools LLMs agentic coding systems intelligent IDEs and AI development frameworks to enhance engineering workflows
• Support integration across APIs pipelines cloud services and engineering toolchains
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders worldwide
• Mentor both client and Infosys teams in modern engineering and AI enabled practices
• Encourage experimentation continuous learning and innovation

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong hands on software engineering experience within enterprise environments
• Ability to stay current with modern AI tools LLMs AI development platforms and emerging engineering technologies
• Proficiency in languages like Python Java or TypeScript
• Understanding of APIs distributed systems cloud native architectures and integration patterns
• Experience leading client facing engineering or delivery engagements for global accounts
• Excellent communication problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills
• Curiosity and passion for exploring new technologies and applying them in practical ways
