Senior Foundry Supervisor - Precious Metals Refinery

Marmara Metal Refinery is seeking an experienced Senior Foundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the foundry section within our precious metals refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising melting, casting, and metal handling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of gold and silver products.

This role requires strong hands on experience in furnace operations, casting processes, and precious metals handling within a refinery or precious metals production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily foundry operations, including melting, casting, and bar production.
• Operate and monitor induction or gas furnaces used in precious metals refining.
• Manage the melting of dore, scrap, and alloy materials according to production requirements.
• Ensure correct temperature control, material ratios, and production parameters during melting operations.
• Oversee the casting of gold bars, ingots, and casting grain.
• Monitor and minimize metal loss during melting and casting processes.
• Coordinate with the assay laboratory for sampling and purity verification.
• Supervise and train foundry operators and technicians.
• Maintain strict safety procedures when handling high-temperature equipment and hazardous materials.
• Ensure proper documentation of production records and metal movement.
• Support maintenance activities for furnaces and foundry equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized foundry environment in line with refinery standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in precious metals refinery or foundry operations.
• Strong experience with gold melting, casting, and furnace operations.
• Knowledge of induction furnaces and casting equipment.
• Understanding of precious metal recovery and metal loss control.
• Ability to supervise technical teams in a high temperature industrial environment.
• Familiarity with refinery safety standards and operational procedures.
• Experience working with gold, silver, and precious metals alloys.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
