Joinery Manager

Requirements.

  • Minimum 5–8 years experience in joinery production or interior fit-out industry.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings.
  • Good leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily operations of the joinery workshop.
  • Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, quantity surveyors, and site teams regarding joinery requirements.
  • Review shop drawings and technical details before production.
  • Ensure all joinery works meet required quality standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor material requirements such as MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, hardware, and fittings.
  • Control material usage and reduce wastage to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Supervise carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers in the workshop.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of joinery machinery and tools.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of joinery items at project sites.
  • Conduct inspections before dispatch and after installation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop and site.
  • Prepare production reports and update management on project progress.
