Senior FP&A Analyst

Responsibilities

• • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain robust financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance, profitability, and trend analysis.
  • Data Extraction & Analysis (SQL): Develop and execute SQL queries to extract financial and operational data supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, translating complex data into clear dashboards and actionable insights.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timeliness.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Technology Optimization: Leverage FP&A software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and streamline reporting processes.
  • Business Influence: Provide financial insights and recommendations to influence key business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the consumer finance or fintech industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling software).
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries (joins, subqueries, aggregations) to support reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Advanced degree in finance or a related field.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis systems (FP&A software).
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
