The Position

The division is looking for Senior Frontend Developer / Architect to lead the evolution of user experience across our enterprise SaaS platform in the utilities industry. This role is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys ownership, architecture, and building modern user interfaces that impact real-world customers at scale.

You will be the primary frontend specialist working alongside a small, high-impact team delivering innovation initiatives including a next-generation utility payment portal and a modernization of our core customer information system (CIS).

The chosen individuals will work out of the Contour Software Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years frontend development experience

• Strong expertise in React or Angular.

• Experience building enterprise SaaS applications.

• Proven ability to design scalable frontend architecture.

• Experience designing or contributing to a design system.

• Strong CSS and responsive design skills.

• Experience working independently or as the primary frontend engineer

• Experience collaborating with UX/design teams.

• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives.

• Experience integrating with backend APIs.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong writing and speaking communication skills.

• Strong critical behavior traits including Ownership, Product Thinking, Self-Direction, Maturity, pragmatism, Design Collaboration, Documentation Discipline, Systems Thinking and Calm Problem Solver.

• Accessibility compliance experience (WCAG / ADA)
