Senior Full-Stack Developer – Admin Dashboard (React / Next.js / GCP)

  • Compensation: Equity-Based Until Funding
  • Salary Once we get funding

About Halen

Halen is a pre-launch mobility & lifestyle super-app bringing together ride-hailing, food & package delivery, travel booking, and more into a single platform. We are currently in the MVP development stage and preparing for our first public launch.

As part of this journey, we need a robust internal admin dashboard to manage user activity, track trips, monitor sales, and handle support. We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can own this project from start to finish — researching, selecting, customizing, and integrating the right React-based dashboard solution.

  • Note: This role is equity-based until we secure funding post-launch.

Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend the best React/Next.js admin dashboard template (Material UI or TailwindCSS preferred).
  • Customize the chosen template with Halen’s branding (colors, fonts, logo).
  • Integrate the dashboard with backend APIs (NestJS, Golang) hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement role-based access control (Admin, Support, Finance).
  • Build and connect dashboard modules for:
  • Trip tracking (Google Maps Fleet Engine integration).
  • Sales analytics & subscription reporting.
  • User management (drivers, riders).
  • Support & dispute resolution.
  • Ensure secure authentication (Firebase Auth / OAuth with MFA).
  • Deploy the dashboard to Google Cloud Run or Firebase Hosting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with React.js and Next.js in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Material UI (MUI) and/or TailwindCSS.
  • Experience integrating APIs with NestJS / Node.js backends.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub).
  • Expertise in authentication and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time data (WebSockets / Firebase Realtime Database).
  • Familiarity with Google Maps API / Fleet Engine.
  • Basic UX/UI skills to optimize dashboard workflows.
  • Knowledge of payment systems (Stripe, Nuvei) for financial reporting.

Compensation & Engagement

  • Equity-based until funding is secured post-launch.
  • Post-funding: Competitive salary + equity.
  • Flexible hours, fully remote.
  • Contract or short-term project, with strong potential for ongoing role post-funding.
  • Immediate start — target:
  • 1 week for template selection.
  • 3–5 weeks for MVP dashboard build.
  • Extensions for additional features.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who wants to own a high-impact project, help shape the foundation of a fast-growing startup, and share in the upside once we scale.
