Senior Full Stack Engineer (React.js / Node.js / MongoDB)

Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role focused on backend-heavy development with the flexibility to contribute to frontend features when required. You will build scalable APIs, work on marketplace workflows, and develop dashboards used by sellers, admins, and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and MongoDB
• Build and optimize REST APIs and marketplace logic
• Design and manage MongoDB data models, queries, and indexes
• Develop UI components and dashboards in React.js
• Integrate third-party APIs (payments, logistics, identity, messaging)
• Debug and resolve full-stack issues
• Work closely with Product, QA, UI/UX, and Support teams
• Participate in architecture, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Follow Git/GitHub workflows and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of full-stack development experience
• Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, MongoDB, and React.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Git/GitHub
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SaaS, marketplaces, or e-commerce systems
• Experience with Typescript
• Understanding of queues, microservices, or asynchronous patterns
• Exposure to GCP, Docker, or CI/CD
• Experience with Stripe, logistics, or workflow integrations
