Senior Full Stack Engineer / Solution Architect (Enterprise Systems & Automation)

Location: Karachi | Night Shift (US Operations Alignment)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer / Solution Architect to build and scale internal platforms that power a 500+ retail store operation in the US.

This role combines hands-on development with system architecture and technical leadership, focused on building internal portals, workflow systems, automation tools, and enterprise integrations.

You will play a key role in developing the digital backbone of the organization, driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal portals, dashboards, and workflow systems
• Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop automation tools (bots, scripts, RPA) to reduce manual work
• Design and manage databases and data models
• Integrate with third-party systems (CRMs, telecom systems, payment systems, APIs)
• Implement approval workflows, role-based access, and audit systems
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing
• Collaborate with business teams (operations, finance, HR) to translate requirements into systems
• Lead code reviews, architecture decisions, and best practices
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Backend

• .NET Core / ASP.NET Core OR Java (Spring Boot)
• REST APIs (JSON), SOAP (as needed)
• Microservices architecture

Frontend

• React.js / Next.js (preferred) OR Angular / Vue
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

Database

• SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Database design, optimization, and performance tuning

Automation & Integration

• RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, UiPath) or custom automation scripting
• API integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Workflow engines (plus)

DevOps & Tools

• Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker (preferred)
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – exposure preferred)

Architecture (Preferred)

• Event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, POS, Inventory)

Experience Requirements

• 5–10+ years of software development experience
• Proven experience building:
• Internal portals or enterprise applications
• Workflow/approval systems
• Automation tools or integrations
• Strong experience in API design and database systems
• Experience in retail, telecom, or high-volume transaction environments is a plus
• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams

Role Structure (Important)

We are open to hiring at two levels depending on experience:

1. Senior Full Stack Engineer (Execution-Focused)

• Strong hands-on coding experience
• Builds and delivers systems end-to-end
• Works under defined architecture

2. Solution Architect / Lead Engineer (Architecture-Focused)

• Defines system architecture and technical standards
• Oversees multiple systems and integrations
• Mentors team and reviews code
• Drives scalability, security, and long-term design decisions
