Senior Full Stack PHP Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in PHP, particularly the Laravel framework for robust backend development, coupled with strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies, especially Laravel Livewire. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and code quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code primarily within the Laravel framework.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs for integration with various frontend components and external services.
• Architect and optimize database schemas (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and write complex, efficient SQL queries.
• Implement and manage caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached) for high-performance applications.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, including security, data protection, and code standards.

Frontend Development (Livewire & UI/UX)

• Utilize Laravel Livewire and Alpine.js to build modern, reactive, and highly interactive user interfaces without extensive custom JavaScript.
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable HTML, CSS (using frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap), and standard JavaScript/TypeScript where necessary.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and functional web applications.
• Implement state management and real-time features using Livewire's capabilities.

General & Architectural

• Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth and best practices of the engineering team.
• Manage deployment pipelines, version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab), and contribute to DevOps practices (e.g., Docker, CI/CD).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks across the stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Deep expertise in PHP and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Laravel (versions 8+).
• Expert-level proficiency with Laravel Livewire and Alpine.js.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and query optimization.
• Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap).
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest).
• Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React).
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Background in agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of queued jobs and message brokers (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ).
