The Senior Fundamental Research Analyst will play a crucial role in the development of stockaxis's research offerings. This individual will be responsible for analysing and interpreting financial data, performing industry and company-specific research, and providing actionable investment insights. The role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, valuation models, and market trends.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of company financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Valuation Models: Build and maintain financial models for companies across multiple sectors. Use valuation methods such as DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA, and others to assess investment potential.
- Industry Research: Research macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and sector-specific news to provide a holistic view of the market.
- Equity Research Reports: Write clear, concise, and actionable equity research reports with recommendations (buy/hold/sell) based on your analysis.
- Investment Recommendations: Provide investment advice based on fundamental analysis and research, focusing on risk/reward scenarios.
- Client Communication: Communicate findings effectively to both internal teams and clients. This may include presenting at meetings, webinars, or conferences.
- Market Monitoring: Continuously track key market developments, news, and trends to stay ahead of market changes that could impact investment strategies.
- Education: A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or similar professional certification is preferred.
NISM XV – Research Analyst certificate is must.
- Experience: 7-9 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or a related field, ideally with experience in a senior role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and other research tools. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data and translate this into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create detailed reports and present complex ideas clearly to clients.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, global economic trends, and industry dynamics.
