Senior GCP Data Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

8-10 years Google GCP Bigquery Experience with good Python Skills. Experience in Atscale or similar Cubes and have experience on Dimensional Modelling or Designing Snowflake Schemas.
Strong hands-on experience in Python and AtScale or similar cubes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Data Engineering:

Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced query optimization, complex joins, window functions, large-scale data processing)
Hands-on experience with Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
Deep experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in modern cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery)
Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and production support practices

Universal Semantic Layer

Configure and support USL with existing Mydrill and Finance Metrices.
Build and maintain planning models, dimensions, metadata, and security in alignment with finance requirements.
Develop and support business rules / calculation scripts, web input forms, and planning dashboards.
Assist in performance tuning and optimization of planning calculations. Testing, UAT & Documentation
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration details, and user guides.
Assist with user training and knowledge transfer activities to ensure operational readiness.
