POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Compensation Analyst supports the design, administration, and evaluation of compensation programs that attract, retain and engage employees across the enterprise. The role provides critical analytical support, ensures data integrity and compliance, and partners with HR and operational leaders to deliver total rewards programs and solutions that align with ETS's organizational priorities. The role will be heavily focused on compensation (70-80%), with the balance supporting employee benefits-related initiatives and processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing; analyze survey data to recommend salary ranges, structures, and pay positioning by role, level, and location.
  • Support job architecture and leveling work: define criteria (scope, complexity, decisions, impact), map roles to levels, and maintain job data quality.
  • Support the annual compensation cycles: merit, promotion and incentive plans including data audit, budget review, support to stakeholders during the cycle and partnering with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
  • Prepare compensation reports and analytics to help support informed decisions on hiring, promotions, off-cycle requests and retention.
  • Ensure adherence to compensation policies, pay governance, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit trails and documentation.
  • Participate in salary surveys and manage compensation database vendors.
  • Provide excellent customer service support to internal customers (HR, leaders & employees).
  • Maintain accurate Rewards data in both internal HRIS system and external vendor systems.
  • Support the global benefits team with Indian benefits administration as needed.
  • Support any audit and compliance requirements including pay transparency and benefits plan documentation.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Clear communicator able to translate methodology into practical guidance for managers and employees; commitment to transparency and equity.
  • Solid understanding of compensation fundamentals, including job/level matching, market pricing, program design
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot and other tools for data analysis and presentations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively use AI to analyze, interpret data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Clear communicator able to translate methodology into practical guidance for managers and employees; commitment to transparency and equity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors' Degree, in a related field
  • 5+ years of compensation experience with hands-on market pricing, job evaluation, and annual planning; global exposure preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation (and benefits) in the US and Indian markets preferred
