Senior Governance Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Establish and manage Program & Portfolio Governance structures.
  • Lead Steering Committees and executive governance forums.
  • Define decision-making models, escalation paths, and stage-gate processes.
  • Develop and monitor governance KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and compliance management frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and performance measurement.
  • Define RACI matrices and accountability models across initiatives.
  • Support benefits realization tracking and value governance.
  • Conduct governance maturity assessments and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 11+ years of experience in Governance, Program Management, or Enterprise Transformation.
  • Strong experience in designing governance frameworks for large organizations.
  • Expertise in risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience working within PMO or transformation offices.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Background in consulting or large corporate environments.
  • Strong understanding of operating model design.
  • Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and waterfall governance models.
