We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our team and help us continue to push the boundaries of creative sign design.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the sign industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing custom illuminated, neon, and architectural signs. You'll be responsible for transforming client concepts into production-ready designs, working closely with our sales, project management, and fabrication teams. This role requires a blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of sign fabrication processes and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create compelling and effective sign designs from initial concepts through to final, production-ready artwork. This includes developing designs for a variety of sign types, such as monument signs, pylon signs, channel letters, and wayfinding systems.
• Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their vision and brand guidelines, providing expert design consultation and solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Prepare and manage files for production, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications for fabrication. This includes creating detailed shop drawings, material specifications, and installation plans.
• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and the production team to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Review final proofs and prototypes to ensure designs are executed accurately and to the highest quality standards.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, sharing knowledge and best practices in sign design and fabrication.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay current with the latest trends in sign design, materials, and technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sign design within the sign manufacturing industry.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino) is a plus.
• Experience with CNC router operations and file preparation is a significant advantage.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of custom sign projects, with a focus on illuminated, neon, and architectural signage.
• Excellent understanding of sign fabrication methods, materials, and electrical components.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of project deadlines and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
