Basic Function: The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the creation of visually compelling proposals and marketing materials for business development initiatives and property listings. This role encompasses both custom creative design and the application of branded templates. Additionally, the designer will play a key role in shaping and executing short- and long-term creative and digital marketing strategies, ensuring all deliverables are innovative, aligned with brand standards, and effectively communicate Newmark Zimmer (“NZ”) objectives across all platforms.

Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline. Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design or a related creative field. Proven success in managing creative projects from concept through completion, with strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated experience in a B2B environment, including the development of proposals, pursuit materials, and client-facing presentations. Familiarity with marketing, advertising, and real estate industry standards and practices.

Specific Skills Required: Deep understanding of modern digital marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices. Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; proficiency in creating maps, RFP responses, and marketing collateral. Experience with web design knowledge is a plus. Creative thinker with a passion for producing innovative, visually compelling content that aligns with brand standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the design and production of marketing materials that align with strategic pursuits and client objectives.
  • Develop creative concepts and translate them into compelling layouts for print and digital platforms, ensuring visual impact and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate on email and social media campaigns, contributing to both concept development and execution.
  • Create targeted marketing collateral, maintain design files, and review materials to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Take ownership of proposal and offering memorandum design, including production scheduling, organization, content layout, and client interaction.
  • Generate innovative ideas to strengthen brand presence across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across digital, social, and print platforms.
  • Contribute to the creation and production of quarterly market reports.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal departments to ensure alignment of creative deliverables with organizational goals.
  • Interface with clients and industry professionals to support marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging design technologies and trends to enhance creative output.
  • Provide support to branch offices and assist other marketing team members as needed.
