We are seeking a motivated, talented senior graphic designer to join our creative team.

Our designers work closely with our clients – this means the perfect fit for this role also has excellent customer service skills and communicates clearly, kindly and professionally with clients, vendors and other contacts.

This full-time position reports to the VP of Creative Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery (with an account manager or independently) to define goals, audience, scope, deliverables, timelines and success metrics, translating business needs into clear creative direction.
• Bring a strategic mindset to every project, aligning design choices to customer objectives and recommending the best channels, formats and approaches.
• Concept, design, and produce high-quality creative for campaigns, print and digital (and the occasional brand project), from initial concepts through final delivery.
• Communicate ideas through strong typography, color, imagery, layout and hierarchy, ensuring work is on-brand and effective across mediums.
• Translate complex information and data into clear visuals (infographics, diagrams, charts and simplified layouts).
• Present work and design rationale; incorporate feedback and manage revisions while protecting strategy, quality and craft.
• Ensure production excellence: quality-check work, build print/digital-ready files, and coordinate with vendors on specs, proofs, deadlines and delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS, Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 4-5 years of experience in related field, with agency experience preferred
• Displays finesse in areas of text, color, image and layout. Demonstrates skill in typography and information hierarchy
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and MS Office in a Mac environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to establish and meet ongoing deadlines
• Ability to communicate with and maintain strong client relationships
• Photography or web design experience (can create a flat design or wireframe, then work with the developer) is a plus

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• In office: Tuesdays and some Thursdays
• WFH: M, W, F
• Remote option available for non-local candidates, with the requirement to be in the Pickerington office from time to time
• No weekends

Pay: $56,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
