About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design& Production Specialist to help us in the design and production of high-quality custom signage. This role includes the design and printing of vinyl graphics, fabrication of the signage based on what is specified in the order and occasional installation of the signage at customer sites.

Ideal candidate can work independently, maintain high production standards and represent the business professionally with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Production

· Prepare production-ready artwork using FlexiSIGN, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator

· Produce vinyl graphics and digitally printed signs for interior and exterior applications

· Operate wide-format printers, vinyl plotters, and cold-pressure laminators

· Weed, mask, apply, mount, trim, and finish graphics accurately and efficiently

· Work with substrates including ACM, PVC, coroplast, acrylic, aluminum, and glass

· Perform quality checks for alignment, color accuracy, and durability

Shop & Equipment Operations

· Safely operate production equipment and hand tools

· The operation of wide format printers

· Load media, ink, and vinyl materials

· Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

· Maintain organized workspaces and manage materials inventory

Field Installations

· Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements

· Install window graphics, wall graphics, decals, panel signs, and vehicle graphics

· Work safely with ladders and installation tools at customer locations

Customer & Team Support

· Communicate professionally with customers regarding artwork, timelines, and installations

· Complete layout forms, production notes, and job documentation accurately

· Assist front counter or sales staff with technical input when needed

Required Qualifications

· 1+ years of experience in sign production, wide-format printing, or a sign shop environment

· Proficiency with sign design software (FlexiSIGN, CorelDRAW and/or Adobe Illustrator)

· Strong understanding of vinyl application, print finishing, and installation techniques

· Ability to read layouts, perform measurements, and manage multiple jobs

· Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

· Valid driver’s license for local travel

Preferred Qualifications

· Vehicle graphic or wrap experience (partial or full)

· Experience in a fast-paced or franchise sign shop

· Ability to assist with production planning and workflow improvement

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level
