The Senior Graphic Designer at Stephens Direct is an integral part of our creative team, comprised of design, copy, and marketing technology. The person chosen for this role is an excellent communicator who will help lead creative thinking and concepting, in collaboration with other members of the creative team and agency. This candidate will have an impressive portfolio, agency experience and demonstrated high-level expertise in both print and digital design.

This is a remote role in a fast-paced agency. An online portfolio is required for consideration.

Job requirements

• Develop and present strong traditional and digital concepts and designs (print, interactive, video and motion) with solid rationale
• Work collaboratively as part of the creative team and in close collaboration with the Design & Technology Director and Creative Director
• Work effectively across the agency to collaborate with account, strategy, project management, and leadership
• Ability to accept feedback and deliver stronger work because of it
• Able to work independently or as part of a team, as the situation necessitates
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and design skills
• Excellent project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactively share current design trends, inspiration, tools, and process improvements with the team
• Naturally curious, positive, and focused on problem-solving

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of graphic design experience
• Agency (or equivalent) experience
• Impressive online work portfolio
• Able to work in a hybrid role if/when we return to the office
