About Giantly
Giantly is a UK-based AI-powered digital agency. Design is not a department — it is the product. Everything our clients' audiences see, feel, and respond to starts with our creative output. We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who understands that great design is not decoration — it is strategy made visible.
The Role
This is not a junior or mid-level role. We need a highly experienced Senior Graphic Designer with a proven portfolio of premium agency work across branding, social media, digital advertising, and web assets. You will be the creative engine of Giantly — setting the visual standard, leading creative direction for multiple clients, mentoring junior resource as they come on, and ensuring that everything that leaves our agency looks exceptional. You will work fast without cutting corners, and you will care deeply about quality.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Creative
- Design scroll-stopping social media creatives for multiple UK clients across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Produce a high volume of content — single images, carousels, story formats, and animated graphics — without letting quality slip
- Ensure every piece of content is on-brand, platform-appropriate, and visually distinctive
- Stay ahead of social media design trends — know what's performing on each platform and bring those insights into client work
- Design Reels covers, highlight covers, bio visuals, and profile assets as part of complete social media setups
Paid Ad Creatives
- Design high-converting paid ad creatives for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Display campaigns
- Understand the difference between brand content and direct response advertising — and design accordingly
- Create multiple ad creative variants for A/B testing — different hooks, formats, visual approaches, and CTAs
- Work closely with the Ads Manager to understand what's converting and adapt creative strategy based on performance data
- Produce ad creatives quickly when campaigns need new assets — turnaround time matters in paid advertising
Branding & Identity
- Lead brand identity projects — logo design, colour palette development, typography systems, and brand guidelines
- Produce comprehensive brand guidelines documents that the client's team and Giantly's team can follow consistently
- Apply brand identity systems consistently across all client touchpoints — social, ads, web, print, and presentations
- Conduct brand audits for new clients and identify inconsistencies or weaknesses in their existing visual identity
- Build brand identity from scratch for new businesses — guide them through positioning, visual language, and tone
Web & Digital Assets
- Design website layouts, hero sections, landing pages, and UI components for the web development team
- Produce Figma files that are clean, structured, and developer-ready — with clear layers, components, and annotations
- Design high-converting landing page layouts for paid ad campaigns — every element placed with purpose
- Create email marketing templates, digital brochures, and presentation decks for clients
- Produce Giantly's own marketing assets — pitch decks, proposals, and brand collateral
Creative Direction & Quality Control
- Set and maintain the creative standard across all client accounts — review and approve work before it goes to clients
- Provide clear, constructive, creative direction to freelancers and junior designers when working collaboratively
- Develop and maintain visual style guides for each client — ensuring consistency across all content produced
- Push back on briefs that are unclear or creatively limiting — ask the right questions before starting work
- Own the relationship between creative quality and client results — if content isn't performing, investigate why
Client Collaboration & Briefing
- Work directly from client briefs provided by the Content Manager or Sales team — interpret them accurately and fill in creative gaps
- Present creative concepts confidently and explain the rationale behind design decisions
- Handle client feedback professionally — distinguish between subjective preference and genuine improvement
- Manage revision rounds efficiently — maximum 2 rounds per project, with clear communication on scope
- Proactively suggest creative improvements to clients — you are not just executing briefs, you are elevating brands
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience — agency background is non-negotiable
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating premium work across branding, social media, and digital advertising — no portfolio, no interview
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong Figma skills — for web design, collaborative design systems, and client presentations
- Experience designing specifically for UK brands and understanding of UK market aesthetics and cultural nuances
- Ability to maintain exceptional quality at pace — agency production speed without agency corner-cutting
- Strong understanding of what makes ad creatives convert — design with performance, not just aesthetics, in mind
- Excellent communication — able to receive briefs clearly, ask smart questions, and push back constructively
- Canva Pro proficiency for quick-turnaround social content and client-editable templates
- Experience with motion graphics or basic animation is a strong advantage — After Effects or similar
What We Offer
- Competitive senior salary — we invest in design talent because it is our core product
- 100% remote role
- Significant creative ownership — this is not a template-filling role, you will shape the visual identity of multiple brands
- Varied, exciting, creative work across UK industries — automotive, retail, hospitality, professional services, and more
- Direct collaboration with UK founder and leadership — your voice matters in creative decisions
- Full Adobe Creative Cloud licence and all required software provided
- Career progression to Creative Director as the agency and team grow
