Lead and manage team to deliver best in class sourcing foundations and strategy execution to support the implementation of company programs and organizational strategic plans.

Plans and manages business unit and organizational processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.

Education (minimum education level, degree or certification necessary): Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or other related fields preferred.

Years of experience in specific field or utilizing designated skills (minimum needed to be qualified): 8+ years sourcing experience preferred.

Leadership: Focused primarily on the growth and well-being of partners and the team, values diverse opinions, cultivates a culture of trust, empowers partners, acts with humility and shows up as with their authentic self.

Sourcing Foundations: Expert knowledge of procurement processes such as category sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, risk management, and key legal terms, RFXs, market analysis, ‘should-cost’ models, and standard legal protections (i.e. confidentiality agreements). Helps other sourcing partners succeed through knowledge sharing of key sourcing foundations.

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
