We are looking for a results-driven BDR who already understands Upwork dynamics, LinkedIn outbound strategy, and B2B tech sales — someone who can contribute from day one.
This is not a training role. This is a performance role.
Role Overview
As a Senior Growth & Business Development Executive, you will:
- Own and scale Upwork bidding strategy
- Build outbound pipelines via LinkedIn and email
- Close high-value SaaS and AI development deals
- Improve our current BD processes
You will directly impact monthly revenue and international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Upwork Revenue Ownership
- Identify and bid on high-intent SaaS, AI, and software development projects
- Craft customized, high-converting proposals
- Manage connects strategically for ROI
- Handle client conversations and convert them into calls
LinkedIn & Outbound Strategy
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build founder/CTO pipelines
- Execute structured cold outreach campaigns
- Maintain response rate, meeting rate, and deal flow metrics
- Build personal rapport with international founders
Deal Qualification & Closing
- Conduct discovery calls
- Understand technical requirements
- Collaborate with tech leads for estimations
- Follow up consistently and close deals
CRM & Performance Tracking
- Maintain daily pipeline tracking
- Improve SOPs for bidding and outreach
- Track KPIs:
- Response Rate
- Meetings Booked
- Proposal-to-Call Conversion
- Closed Revenue
Strategic Contribution
- Suggest tools (Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, n8n, etc.)
- Improve targeting strategy
- Provide insights on winning industries and deal sizes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 1.5–2 years in Upwork bidding OR B2B tech sales
- Proven experience generating meetings from LinkedIn
- Understanding of SaaS / AI / Web & Mobile Development
- Strong English communication (written and spoken)
This role is not suitable for candidates without prior tech sales or Upwork experience.
