Senior Healthcare Project Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Healthcare Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a trusted delivery leader for healthcare clients, overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving successful digital health initiatives across complex healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT projects from initiation through closure
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage sprints, backlogs, and iterative delivery cycles
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, clinical leads, and executive sponsors
  • Ensure all project deliverables comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and Business Associate Agreement (BAA) standards
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, QA, and clinical consultants
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and post-implementation reviews
  • Support project delivery and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience in the healthcare IT domain
  • Active PMP certification (required)
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum project delivery frameworks
  • Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and compliance regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar
  • Understanding of EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or Meditech
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, PHI data security, and Business Associate Agreements (BAA)
  • Experience with healthcare data migration, system integration, and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based healthcare platforms
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and change management practices in healthcare environments
