About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Healthcare Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a trusted delivery leader for healthcare clients, overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving successful digital health initiatives across complex healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT projects from initiation through closure
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage sprints, backlogs, and iterative delivery cycles
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, clinical leads, and executive sponsors
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and Business Associate Agreement (BAA) standards
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, QA, and clinical consultants
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and post-implementation reviews
- Support project delivery and mentor junior team members
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of project management experience in the healthcare IT domain
- Active PMP certification (required)
- Strong command of Agile/Scrum project delivery frameworks
- Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and compliance regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar
- Understanding of EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or Meditech
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, PHI data security, and Business Associate Agreements (BAA)
- Experience with healthcare data migration, system integration, and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based healthcare platforms
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and change management practices in healthcare environments
