Job Description Summary

Value Engineering is a technically diverse organization in Product Management that works cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Sourcing, Quality, Services, etc, to execute high impact initiatives. In this role, you will be focused on driving continuous value optimization and cost-out across Gas Turbine HGP products and service offerings. You'll be empowered to identify alternate means, methods & approaches to problems, with an aim towards unlocking the maximum value-based opportunity for GEV.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and drive the implementation of project plans until full value capture, including budget, resource, and program management.

  • Develop holistic cross-functional business cases for cost optimization ideas, that include CAPEX, OPEX, & resource allocation

  • Collaborate inclusively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Sourcing, Quality, Services, etc. to execute and implement solutions, championing quality and driving continuous improvement

  • Lead ideation sessions with cross functional stakeholders to identify big picture opportunities to increase value/revenue, and/or decrease total lifecycle cost of products.

  • Report financial performance to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management.

  • Create a long-term and sustainable engine within GE Vernova Gas Power for generating business value through cost-out efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior Gas Turbine experience in Design Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality or Repair.

  • Ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels and cross functional groups.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for ideas, urgency, and decisiveness

  • Courage to challenge the status quo and advocate for safety, quality, and integrity.

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Drives execution of tasks and influences through formal channels and informal network

  • Strong problem-solving abilities & analytical skills (data analysis, formulating business cases, etc.)

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $118,600.00 and $197,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
