Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for overseeing all HR functions for our multi-site Texas field operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role serves as a key partner to Texas operational leadership, providing guidance on HR policies and fostering a productive, inclusive, and compliant work environment across all Texas facilities. The HR Business Partner also supervises the Texas-based HR team, ensuring that daily HR operations align with organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle for all Texas-based employees, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding processes.

Serve as a strategic advisor to Texas operational leadership, providing insights and recommendations on HR policies, talent management, and organizational development.

Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistent application across all Texas facilities.

Manage employee relations for all Texas sites, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work culture.

Supervise and support the Texas-based HR team, providing coaching, development opportunities, and performance feedback.

Lead the performance management process for the Texas employee population, supporting managers with employee evaluations, development plans, and performance improvement strategies.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all Texas locations, including record-keeping, reporting, and workplace safety regulations.

Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies in partnership with Texas leadership, coordinating events and initiatives to improve morale and productivity.

Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for leadership, using data to support strategic HR planning for the Texas region.

Partner with other departments to support organizational goals, providing HR expertise in areas such as talent development, succession planning, and change management.

Manage HR budgets for Texas-based initiatives, optimizing resources and supporting efficient use of funds.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

5+ years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory position.

Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.

Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop HR staff.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

Occasionally required to lift or move office supplies (up to 20 lbs).

Frequent use of hands for typing and data entry.

Travel Requirements:

Regular travel between the TX facilities and other states when applicable is required to ensure hands-on leadership and support. Occasional travel for training or corporate meetings may also be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise Texas-based HR staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and career development support.

Oversee HR operations for all Texas facilities and ensure that HR team members are performing their responsibilities effectively and in alignment with organizational goals.
