Key Responsibilities
● HR Operations: Manage full HR lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance reviews, and exits as the single point of contact for plant and site-level HR needs
● Labour Strategy: Develop labour deployment plans for plant, quarry, and transport; control absenteeism, overtime, and productivity through systems and monitoring; resolve discipline, misconduct, and grievances
● Contractor Management: Manage labour contractors as per Contract Labour Act; verify contractor bills, attendance, wage registers, and statutory payments; ensure availability of skilled and unskilled manpower as per production plans
● Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, Factories Act / Mines Act (as applicable), and Contract Labour Act; maintain statutory registers, licenses, and documentation; coordinate with labour department officials during inspections and audits
● Payroll Oversight: Supervise payroll processing for staff and contract labour; validate attendance, OT, incentives, and deductions; coordinate with accounts for timely salary disbursement
● Discipline, IR & Legal: Handle show-cause notices, warning letters, suspensions, and terminations; support management in dispute handling and legal coordination; ensure discipline and adherence to company policies across the workforce
● HR Policies & SOPs: Implement HR policies, rules, and SOPs specific to mining and crushing operations; educate supervisors and staff on rules, safety, and compliance; maintain proper employee records and documentation
● Safety & Training: Coordinate induction, safety training, and toolbox talks; support implementation of safety norms with plant operations; track training records and compliance
Required Qualifications
● Graduate / MBA in HR / Personnel Management
● 3–7 years of experience in mining, stone crushing, construction, or manufacturing / industrial setup
● Strong practical knowledge of Indian labour laws
● Proven experience in handling blue-collar workforce and contractors
