About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, and Compliance functions across our UAV manufacturing setup. This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends operational excellence with people-first leadership. The ideal candidate will drive HR systems (KEKA), strengthen organizational culture, and enable scalability as we expand our workforce across engineering, manufacturing, and R&D divisions.

Job Responsibilities

HR Operations & Policy Management
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRMS (KEKA) administration.
  • Draft, implement, and continuously refine HR policies in alignment with company goals, legal compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, labor laws, and audit readiness (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment — sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding across technical and non-technical roles.
  • Build and manage relationships with hiring agencies, institutions, and professional networks within the UAV and aerospace ecosystem.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
  • Drive the performance management process (PMS) through goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
  • Implement competency frameworks and skill development programs for engineering and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design career progression pathways and reward systems.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Design and execute engagement initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and retention.
  • Conduct employee feedback programs, pulse surveys, and welfare activities to enhance workplace satisfaction.
  • Support leadership in promoting a culture aligned with company values — integrity, excellence, and accountability.
Payroll & Compliance
  • Manage monthly payroll processing via HRMS (KEKA) to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with finance and compliance teams to handle statutory submissions and reports.
  • Maintain timely and accurate employee data for audits and management reporting.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations, recruitment, and compliance.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology startups is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in HRMS platforms (preferably KEKA) and payroll management.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws, HR policy frameworks, and modern talent practices.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • SHRM / HRCI / NIPM certification or equivalent HR credential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface across teams.
  • Hands-on experience with organizational development and performance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to generate HR dashboards and analytics.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based in Bengaluru, India.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Flexibility to support key initiatives outside standard business hours when required.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth.
