Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: Daman, India

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: General Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead the human

resources function at our manufacturing unit in Daman. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and ensuring effective

management of employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business

goals.

 Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs to ensure a skilled and

motivated workforce.

 Manage employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive work

environment.

 Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation structures to ensure accuracy

and compliance.

 Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, appraisals, and

employee development.

 Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and workplace safety

standards.

 Develop and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee

skills.

 Manage employee engagement activities to promote team spirit and workplace

harmony.

 Collaborate with department heads to assess workforce requirements and

resolve staffing challenges.

 Handle disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and promote fair workplace

practices.

 Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company

standards.

 Develop strategies to reduce employee turnover and improve retention rates.

 Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

 Oversee the design and implementation of employee health and wellness

programs.

 Manage internal communication strategies to ensure transparency and

engagement.

 Act as a liaison between management and employees to address workplace

concerns and ensure alignment with company objectives.

 Monitor and manage HR budgets and expenditures.

Qualifications & Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

(Master’s degree preferred).

 Minimum 8-10 years of HR management experience, preferably in a

manufacturing or industrial setup.

 Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial

relations.

 Proven expertise in employee engagement, performance management, and

talent acquisition.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster a culture of collaboration.

Skills Required:

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

 Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.

 Problem-solving mindset with conflict resolution capabilities.

 Effective crisis management and decision-making skills.

 Strong negotiation skills to manage union relations and workforce conflicts.
