Senior HR Officer

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job requisition to onboarding.
  • Manage the development of job descriptions, candidate sourcing, interview processes, and job offers.
  • Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that recruitment processes are aligned with company goals, policies, and
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on managing performance, conducting disciplinary actions, and addressing workplace concerns.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, providing advice on feedback, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and coaching employees for career growth.
  • Track and report on employee performance data to senior leadership.
  • Ensure that employee compensation and benefits packages are competitive and in line with industry standards.
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Stay up to date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all HR-related processes and actions to remain legally compliant.
  • Support the design and implementation of leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Track the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Lead organizational development efforts and support change management initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with privacy laws.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and data analysis for leadership.
  • Coordinate HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, leave requests, and performance reviews.
  • Payroll preparation and submission .

Qualifications: Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits administration.
  • Experience in managing HR compliance, policies, and legal matters.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
