Qualifications Required:


  • Requires a minimum 5 years of HRIS experience and/or software support administration experience.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce required.
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills; including proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated customer service focus and professionalism in working with customers across various levels of the organization a must.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work and complete multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Ability to communicate to the workforce both verbally and in writing. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.

Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with business leaders to translate HRIS-related requirements into detailed specifications and implements approved specifications in a production environment.
  • Researches and resolves HRIS problems, i.e. unexpected results, or process flaws, determining root cause and recommending a solution that effectively leverages technology.
  • Provide training and support for HRIS when requested.
  • Effectively supports Payroll to resolve any identified issues for Payroll to complete semi-monthly payroll processing.
  • Runs and review various audit reports to keep the integrity and accuracy of the database and make data corrections when necessary.
  • Monitors communication of updates on new hires, separations, transfers, promotions, name changes, or other actions as appropriate to set distribution group.
  • Designs, generates, and distributes standard and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Answers internal customer questions promptly and perform any required troubleshooting for issue resolution.
  • Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or variations from established procedures to maximize the utilization of the HRIS.
  • Promotes technology to increase productivity, decrease rework, and eliminate manual effort.
  • Serves as the primary contact with Dayforce support and configuration teams.
