Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
The role of a Senior HRIS Analyst is a pivotal role within our Human Resources department, responsible for the comprehensive oversight of Workforce Management (WFM). This includes the management of customizations, configuration modifications, system enhancements, consultative support and assessment, and the provision of training and documentation. The successful candidate will ensure that WFM is meticulously integrated and aligned with our Human Resources strategies, supporting the business to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Existing System Management and Improvements

  • Configure and maintain WFM software for Human Resources, the business, and compliance, ensuring it meets their specific WFM needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of WFM configurations, customizations, and changes.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for WFM, resolving varying levels of technical issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand their processes and requirements and recommend solutions that align with their goals, demonstrating a consultative approach and mindset.
  • Own system discovery for complex business problems, identifying various optionality, impacts to the system and experience based on recommendations, estimating resource and capacity impacts, and leading through build and go-live.
  • Stay up to date on the latest features and updates of WFM, including the monthly and major releases provided, and lead planning and execution of releases.
  • Communicate effectively with the business to understand their needs and recommend solutions that align with business needs and proactively suggest ways to optimize the use of WFM.
  • Manage multiple configuration requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services, clean and robust documentation, and readiness.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HR technology trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to enhance the use of WFM for the business.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to WFM configuration and support to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT, Accounting, and other departments to ensure seamless integration with other systems and deliver required reports.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for the business to support their use of WFM.
  • Partner with analytics to build and maintain automated reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Establish and maintain system controls and audit routines to proactively identify data quality issues, configuration drift, or access anomalies.
  • Lead periodic system reviews and readiness assessments to ensure WFM remains optimized for scale, compliance, and future integrations.

Future Oracle HCM Implementation
  • Ability to evaluate processes and redesign them for a future-state model between WFM and Oracle HCM.
  • Participate in vendor management and collaboration with implementation partners.
  • Build system governance models, standards, and documentation as it relates to WFM and Oracle integrations.
  • Participate in the end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation related to WFM integrations by supporting gap analyses against current systems and Oracle HCM, translating functional requirements into WFM configuration requirements, supporting data migration activities, participating in UAT, and supporting change management and user readiness activities.
  • Understanding role-based security models in WFM and large HCM systems.
  • Configuration experience or support for workflow approvals, business rules, alerts, and notifications.
  • Own WFM optimizations, improvements, and enhancements as we build our Timekeeping and Payroll systems to support long-term growth and persona-specific needs.
Qualifications:
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field or experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in UKG WFM. Experience with UKG Pro and Oracle as a plus.
  • Proven exposure and participation to large HR technology transformations with experience supporting or implementing enterprise HCM platforms.
  • Full understanding of modern enterprise Saas HRIS platforms (WFM) with UKG Pro Core and Oracle HCM as a plus.
  • Skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and process mapping.
  • Experience in HR data auditing, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate configuration changes holistically, assessing downstream impacts across modules, integrations, reporting, payroll, and business processes prior to implementation.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with technology change management activities and analyses.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation, with consultative experience a plus.
  • Experience translating technical design into user‑friendly processes, with the ability to advise stakeholders on trade‑offs, limitations, and design impacts.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, including ticket escalation, release impact review, and roadmap planning.
  • Continuously tracks market technology trends, automation, AI and process modernization. Ability to recommend system efficiencies and optimizations with minimal direction.
  • Ability to manage a significant workload and fast-paced flow of expected output. Comfortable with matrix and remote reporting relationships.
  • Self-starter who works collaboratively with other members of the client and Human Resources teams.
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations and can quickly steer in different directions.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of compliance domains such as SOX, HIPAA, PII security standards, and audit readiness within HR technology.
  • Ability to develop complex SQL queries or advanced reporting logic for analytics, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with Oracle HCM Cloud, UKG, and other HRIS platforms.
  • Understanding SaaS architecture, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
  • Knowledge of HR data governance, data integrity, and data security.
  • Familiarity with HR domains: Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, etc.
  • Ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Change management to support user readiness, stakeholder training, and consultative engagements.
  • Ability to translate technical information into business language.
  • Comfortable leading and facilitating leadership presentations, workshops, discovery sessions, and trainings.
