Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees. This role balances strategic partnership with hands-on execution, supporting employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.


Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
  • Advise leaders on performance management, coaching, and corrective action
  • Conduct internal investigations and support conflict resolution efforts

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for professional and operational roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
  • Lead onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive employee experience

HR Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed

Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Assist with compensation benchmarking, merit increases, and job evaluations
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and reporting

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives
  • Support leadership development and employee engagement programs


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or locations preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred
