The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees. This role balances strategic partnership with hands-on execution, supporting employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Performance Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters

Advise leaders on performance management, coaching, and corrective action

Conduct internal investigations and support conflict resolution efforts
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Support full-cycle recruiting for professional and operational roles

Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies

Lead onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive employee experience
HR Compliance & Policy Administration

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation

Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed
Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

Assist with compensation benchmarking, merit increases, and job evaluations

Support benefits administration and employee inquiries

Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and reporting
Training & Development

Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives

Support leadership development and employee engagement programs
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5–8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience

Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Experience supporting multiple departments or locations preferred

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred
