: Procom is looking for an experienced Senior People & Culture Generalist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina.
About the Role
: The Senior People & Culture Generalist serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, to the US client group as well as some client groups in Canada. This role reports into the People & Culture Business Partner Lead. This role is integral for providing consultative HR partnership, ensuring effective execution of people programs that enhance organizational performance, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. This position partners closely with people leaders and employees to deliver effective human resources practices while working collaboratively within the Talent and Culture team.
Responsibilities
:

Act as a trusted advisor to people leaders in areas of workforce planning, performance management, and engagement.

Supports and manage the full lifecycle of employee entry and exit processes, ensuring a well-organized and positive experience from start to finish.

Support employee relations by addressing concerns, enhancing engagement, and ensuring consistent policy enforcement.

Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action procedures.

Partner with people leaders to provide guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, coaching, and development plans.

Support people leaders in organizational design and workforce planning.

Collaborates with other Talent and Culture functions including Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Benefits and Payroll to ensure that we are delivering an integrated employee experience.

Supports Talent and Culture function with research, project support, reporting/analytics, and championing HR initiatives.

Conducts stay interviews and exit interviews and analyze the data to identify insights and trends for the business. Proactively makes recommendations and implements actions as necessary.

Monitor and support compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, assisting with policy updates and training as needed.

Act as a go-to resource for employees by responding to questions related to HR policies and internal procedures.

Organize, update, and safeguard personnel files and HR documentation in alignment with legal and company requirements. This includes data entry in the company’s HRIS.

Responsible for the accommodation process. Evaluates requests. Liaises with the employee. Guides people leaders on appropriate next steps.

Respond to unemployment claims; prepares for and attends unemployment hearings.
Qualifications
:
-
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant Human Resources generalist experience required.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.

HR Certification – PHR is preferred.

Previous HR experience with a Canadian workforce is an asset.

Familiar with state and federal employment laws including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

Proven skill within HRIS platforms is required.

Strong analytical and tenacious problem-solving skills necessary.
