Senior HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, components, and associated control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in complex HVAC equipment and systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and train junior technicians, providing guidance on complex troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• System Monitoring: Monitor energy management systems, review performance reports, and implement changes for continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, local building codes, and company policies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Project Management: Plan and coordinate HVAC projects, including material procurement and managing resources.
• Inventory Management: Manage HVAC parts, equipment, and tools inventory to ensure availability for smooth project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in HVAC system installation and repair.
• Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of digital controls and energy management systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and computer-based management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Relevant HVAC technician license or certification.
