Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, execution, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. The role involves supervising electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Plan and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, MCCs, VFDs, lighting, earthing, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead and guide junior engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and production teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, control costs, and ensure timely completion.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Liaise with electrical inspectors, utility providers, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, project documentation, and maintenance records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech / Diploma with relevant experience).
• Professional certifications or safety training will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 15 -20 yearsof relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in industrial plants, construction projects, or large-scale electrical installations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with HT/LT systems and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and electrical design software (AutoCAD, etc.).

Pay: ﷼35,000.00 - ﷼40,000.00 per month
