Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Network Architect to lead the design, modernization, and operation of our hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role is hands-on and strategic, requiring deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and proven delivery of complex enterprise projects.

You will own end-to-end infrastructure initiatives including cloud migrations, network security architecture, firewall standardization, virtualization, and disaster recovery, while working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Hybrid Architecture

Lead and execute on-prem to cloud migrations in Azure and AWS

Design and maintain secure hybrid and cloud-first architectures

Decide workload placement (on-prem vs cloud) based on security, performance, cost, and compliance

Drive cloud modernization and infrastructure optimization initiatives

Network & Security Engineering

Design, implement, and standardize firewall policies across:

Fortinet FortiGate

Cisco Meraki

SonicWall

Architect secure networks using segmentation, VPNs, and least-privilege access

Manage and support Cisco Catalyst switches

Ensure best practices for routing, switching, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP

Infrastructure & Virtualization

Administer and optimize VMware and Hyper-V environments

Lead infrastructure upgrades and multi-site rollouts

Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across systems

Identity, Automation & Productivity

Administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365

Implement automation using PowerShell scripting and Power Automate

Enforce secure identity and access controls across hybrid environments

Operations, Monitoring & Resilience

Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies

Oversee monitoring, patching, vulnerability management, and incident response

Perform root-cause analysis during outages and lead remediation efforts

Project Management & Delivery

Own end-to-end technical project management

Scope, plan, and deliver complex infrastructure projects

Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and change management

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams

Clearly communicate technical risks and decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Leadership & Documentation

Act as the senior technical authority when required

Mentor junior engineers and support staff

Create and maintain clear technical documentation and diagrams

Promote ownership, accountability, and operational excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field (preferred)

10+ years of hands-on experience in:

Enterprise IT & network engineering

Infrastructure operations

Cloud transformation projects

Strong experience with:

Fortinet, Meraki, SonicWall firewalls

Cisco switching

Azure & AWS

Microsoft 365

VMware & Hyper-V

PowerShell & Power Automate

Deep understanding of:

Network security design & segmentation

Hybrid infrastructure architectures

Backup, DR, and system lifecycle planning

Risk assessment and change management

Preferred Certifications

Fortinet NSE / Fortinet Certified Professional

Cisco CCNA / CCNP

SonicWall certifications

Azure Administrator (AZ-104)

AWS Solutions Architect

VMware VCP

Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications

Soft Skills
