Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the civil design and planning of dry utilities corridors , including:
    • Utility corridors and duct banks
    • Routing and allocation of power, telecom, and ICT networks
    • Manholes, handholes, and related civil elements
  • Develop and review utility layouts, profiles, and cross-sections ensuring proper clearances, constructability, and compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with electrical and telecom teams to ensure proper integration of networks within civil infrastructure .
  • Manage clash detection and resolution between dry utilities, wet utilities, and other infrastructure elements (roads, grading, structures).
  • Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., SEC, STC) to ensure alignment with regulations, standards, and approval requirements.
  • Prepare and review design deliverables including drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Lead design coordination workshops and drive resolution of interface issues across disciplines.
  • Support construction teams by reviewing shop drawings, RFIs , and providing technical guidance on site.
  • Ensure designs meet local codes, authority standards, and project specifications .

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .
  • 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure design, with strong focus on dry utilities (from a civil perspective) .
  • Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or masterplanned developments .
  • Strong knowledge of utility corridor design and coordination .
  • Familiarity with KSA authority requirements (SEC, STC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D , and coordination tools (BIM is a plus).
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in mega/giga projects.
  • Strong background in design management and multidisciplinary coordination .
  • Familiarity with BIM and clash detection platforms (e.g., Navisworks).
